Jet Boating
Enjoy the spectacular scenery along the Waiau River. Jet through narrow gorges, white water rapids and braided shallows. You’ll thrill to the experience of travelling across just centimetres of water or rotating through a 360˚spin, famous features of the amazing jetboat technology, first invented in New Zealand.Equipment provided Life jacket & spray proof jacket.
Guests need Warm coat, sunglasses. Hats and gloves in winter.
Boats don’t operate when the river is in flood. 360° spins included.
Rafting
Marvel at the twist rock, water holes, pink marble and faultline. In clear water you may see salmon and trout as you float down the Waiau River canyon. Relax on this Grade 2 adventure and listen to your guide’s commentary about the river and the area. Our experienced, qualified guides will supply you with all the equipment needed, however we kindly ask you to bring your own swimwear and a towel. We will provide you with full instruction for an enjoyable journey.Equipment provided Wetsuit, booties, helmet, qualified raft guide, life jackets. Guests need to bring Swimwear, towel, sunscreen.
No experience necessary. Grade 2 river. Return Jetboat transfers included. Reasonable standard of fitness required. Suitable for families.
Quad Biking
Great scenery and great action. Fully guided, instruction and equipment provided. Small, large and two seater bikes, auto and manual are available. You’ll have the freedom to drive safely to the conditions and within your ability. Two hours of spectacular scenery and awesome fun and best of all any age can enjoy it - especially families!Equipment provided Overalls, gumboots, helmets. Guests need Sunglasses recommended.
Guests should be prepared to get wet.
