Larapinta Trail by air - the most comfortable way to ‘do the trail’ and perfect for those wanting a 'trekking experience in less than a day’. This half day heli-tour follows the world famous Larapinta Walking Trail through the West MacDonnell Ranges via Mt Gillen, Simpson’s Gap, Standley Chasm, Mt Giles, Ormiston Pound and Gorge before landing at Glen Helen Resort.
Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch on the banks of the ancient Finke River with time for a relaxing walk to Glen Helen Gorge. There are plenty of photo opportunities on our return flight to Alice Springs along the Finke and over the Ochre Pits, Serpentine Gorge and Ellery Creek Waterhole.
